This 30" Outrigger is used in conjunction with our Steel Multi-Function Unit (MFU).
You must use a 5" Locking Caster w/Square Stem for MFU (Product # 050005) with this Outrigger.
The Outrigger gets pinned to the leg of the MFU with Span Pins (includes 2 Span Pins)
This Outrigger is used to widen the base of the MFU.
This Outrigger swivels, allowing you to move through most common door openings without removing!
OSHA mandates Supported Scaffolds, with a height to base width ratio of more than 4:1 be restrained from tipping by guying, tying, bracing, or equivalent means. This means, anytime you are stacking more than 1 MFU, you must use 4 Outriggers (1 per leg), or restrain the MFU from tipping (by an OSHA accepted method).
